Spring Track and Field Announcement

The spring season begins Friday, March 3, 2017. We suggest that you go for a 20-25 minute run three times a week, pushups, core exercises, and squats. After you go for your run, take the time to stretch for approximately 20 minutes.

If you participated winter track and field, distance (2-4 miles), sprinters (1-1.5 miles), and throwers (1 mile or 500 jump ropes) in addition to drills, circuit, core and stretching. 

BE ready to go on day one.

Practice will be held Monday-Friday 3-5:15pm Saturday 9-11am. The schedule for the season will be posted on the blog on the first day of the season. 

There will be a Spike Night at Fleet Feet (Midland Ave., Montclair NJ) on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 6-8pm. You will be able to receive discount on trainers (sneakers you will practice in) and spikes/competition shoes (shoes you will run/jump/throw in). 

There will be an information meeting for all parents and guardians on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 8:45am in the multipurpose room located at Woodman Field. Practice for athletes will begin at 9am on that day.
