County Relays/ Frosh-Novice Meets

Essex County Relay Championships will be held tomorrow at Livingston High School. Field events start at 3:30pm running begins at 4pm.For all individuals competing tomorrow you are excused from your 8th period class. Make your way to Woodman Field immediately after 7th period. Please come prepared with layers and extra snacks and food. 

For those not competing tomorrow you have off and will be competing on Saturday in the Frosh Novice meet at Woodman Field. Field events begin at 9am running begins at 9:30am. We went over relays during practice today and will post the list tomorrow. If you are running on Saturday you must be at Woodman at 8am. For those coming to help(athletes that run Friday night), you are to report at 8:15am.

Paul Beck Relays

We will be traveling to Millburn High School on  Saturday April 25, 2015 to compete in the Paul Beck Relays. Bus will be leaving from Woodman Field at 7 am, meet begins at 9 am. The event list and order of events has been posted.

For those not competing there will be no practice. Check the blog tomorrow for a workout to do on you own.

Monday Information

As a reminder there is no practice tomorrow. We will regroup in Tuesday at Woodman Field at 10am. Here is the workout for you to do on your own. 

Warm up: jumping jacks for 1 minute then hold a 1 minute plank. Rest for 30-45 seconds and repeat 3x

Workout 1 min high knees, 2 min California jumping jacks, 1 min squats, 30 second pushups, 1 min lunges, 1 min rest. Repeat 5x

Core: 25 bicycle crunches, 20 reverse crunches, 1 minute plank (30 sec elbows/30 sec hands). Rest and repeat 7 times

Morris Hills Relays

The meet tomorrow will be held at Morris Hills High School in Rockaway, NJ. The address is 520 W Main St, Rockaway, NJ 07866.

The bus will be leaving from Woodman Field at 7am. The meet beings promptly at 9am. Please come with snacks, water, sunscreen, and a hat. The event list has been posted. For those who are not running there will be a workout posted tomorrow morning.

There is NO PRACTICE for the entire team on Monday and we will resume on Tuesday. Check back on Sunday evening for the Monday workout.

Dual Meet vs. Nutley

The list for the dual meet tomorrow has been posted. If your name is on the list you will compete tomorrow. If your name is not on the list you are to report to practice.

The meet will be held at Demuro Park in Nutley, NJ. The address is: 5 Margaret Avenue Nutley NJ.

We made $1366!

Many thanks to the families (and friends and neighbors) who donated items.

We will be traveling to Hackensack High School tomorrow for the Comet Relays. For those not competing you will not have practice tomorrow.

Practice will begin at 2:30pm on Thursday April 9, 2015. Please be on time

Practice has been cancelled for Friday April 3, 2015. Please keep your eye on the blog for practice times for Saturday.

Dual Meet Information

Our first dual meet is today April 2, 2015 at 4pm. We are competing against Belleville and Science Park.

Please meet on the 'M' at 3pm. We will be taking the team photo at that time. Also remember to have on layers on top of your uniform. 

The order of events has been posted. If you have purchased spikes you can wear you spikes for competition. Please still wear your regular trainers for warm up  and drills.

Keep in mind you are able to do up to 4 events as long as you have practiced them.
