Uniform announcement

For all those who assisted during the Essex County Championships this past weekend, thank you. 

Uniforms will be collected Monday-wednesday from 3-3:30 at woodman field. All individuals who are not competing for the remainder of this season must return their uniforms. Please make sure each item has been cleaned before it is returned. The managers will be in front of the respective locker rooms on these days. 

The coaching staff will not be collecting uniforms during be day. Thank you for your cooperation in this mater.

Dress code for tomorrow, track tshirt, shorts (appropriate length) and sneakers.

Updates

Firstly, congrats to the Girl's Team on their League Championship Title on Friday May 10. Keep up the good work.

Future Stars track meet that will be held tomorrow Monday May 13 4pm at West Orange High School event list has been posted. If your name is not on this list (excluding those who competed on Friday) please email Coach Wallace and Coach Washington to make sure you are competing. Some individuals who competed on Friday will compete tomorrow as well. List has been updated at 9:10pm.

Also for those who would like to purchase a team tshirt/sweatshirt/magnet, please download the order form and return it as soon as possible.

SEC Championships and Updates

SEC Championships held at Millburn High School has been posted on the blog. All individuals on the list will be excused from their 7th and 8th period classes, please meet down at Woodman Field. 

Those not competing tomorrow will have off tomorrow. Also those individuals  who will not compete tomorrow will compete on Monday at West Orange High School.

Dual Meet vs. Westside and East Orange

Today's meet has been cancelled, those who were to compete have the day off. Those who were not competing there still is practice after school.

Wednesday Meet

The event list has been posted for our meet tomorrow at Newark School Stadium against west Side and East Orange. If your name is not on this list you are to report to practice after school.

The order form for team gear has also been posted!! Time to represent Montclair High School Track and Field!!

Weekly Outlook

Good Evening,
We would first like to thank each and every person who made this weekend possible. From the parents to the student athletes, we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It's comforting to know the support, cooperation and respect from both parents and athletes is so positive and strong. So THANK YOU!

Just to keep everyone up to date on this weeks events..

Wednesday there is a dual meet at Newark School Stadium at 4pm vs East Orange and West Side.

Friday is our League championship meet at Millburn High School.

Lets continue working hard and keeping up the great work!

Middle School Track and Field Day Information

Good Evening!

Tomorrow is our Middle School Track and Field Day. Please make sure you report to Woodman Field by 8am, attendance will be taken and if you are not on time you will not receive credit for participation. There are a few individuals who have already notified Coach Wallace and Coach Washington of attending their first period class, you will be excused everyone else please be on time and ready to work.

Please wear jeans, montclair track tshirt and sneakers tomorrow. (no shorts, flip flops, tank tops, etc) You are running this meet for the middle school and it is important to set the tone and lead by example by being in uniform. 

There will be practice after the middle school track and field day so prepare to be at the track all day.
