Uniforms and Other Announcements

The weather report states that it will be 61 degrees tomorrow, the entire team is required to have elbows and knees covered. If you come to practice in shorts and t shirt you will be sent home.

If you have purchased competition spikes please bring them with you to practice tomorrow.

Uniforms will be distributed tomorrow. Remember, if you did not bring in your check for the uniform (security deposit) you will not receive a uniform. If there is an issue having your check please let the coaching staff know.

Tomorrow we will also go over meet guidelines and the event list. Also in order to compete you must practice the day before.

If your parent/guardian has not received an email from the booster committee please have them email Coach Wallace so their name can be added to the list.

Reminders

We will be distributing uniforms soon, it is important to make sure you have your check (security deposit) by Wednesday.

There are two athlete groups in charge of a bake sale and pasta party. If you would like to help organize please send Coach Wallace an email.

Our first meet is next Tuesday at Woodman Field against Bloomfield. Tell your family and friends to come out and support!

Nike Spike Event

Hosted at Fleet Feet Sports (603 Bloomfield Ave on the corner of Midland Ave.), on Wednesday 3/27 from 6-8* pm.

Nike representative will be at the store for information regarding their products. 20% off Nike purchases during event and a gift with purchase.

*Discounts will be honored earlier than 6 pm – mention MHS Track and Field Team.

Saturday Practice

Saturday practice will be at 9am.

Friday Practice/ Uniform Announcement

Tomorrow there is a pep rally schedule, practice will begin at 3pm.

We will be distributing uniforms within the next few days. In order to receive a your uniform/warmups we must have a $175 check made out to Montclair High School.

You are in no way paying for the uniform, it is simply a security deposit ensuring that you will return the uniform in the condition it is given to you.

Thursday Practice

Since there is a half day, practice will be at 1:30pm tomorrow.

Tuesday Practice

There will be a MANDATORY study hall today Tuesday March 19, 2013 in the multipurpose room at Woodman field from 3-4:30. Attendance will be taken.

PARENT MEETING

There will be a parent meeting Saturday March 16, 2013 at 9am. It will be geld in the multipurpose room at Woodman Field. Please inform your parents/guardians. Hope to see you all there :)

Spring Updates

For all athletes who have returned their athlete information/code of conduct, THANK YOU. For all individuals who have not completed this task it must be completed by Wednesday, NO EXCEPTIONS.

There will be a parent meeting Saturday March 16, 2013 in the multipurpose room located at Woodman Field at 9AM. Practice will begin at 9:30AM.

No practice today. 100 Push-ups 200 squats and 500 abs.

Winter Banquet

The winter banquet will be held in the Freshman Cafeteria (atrium) on Saturday March 9, 2013 at 2pm. Please make sure the food you bring is warm and ready to be served with a serving utensil as well.

Can't wait to celebrate the winter track season with all of our athletes, family and friends!!

Practice has been cancelled for today Friday March 8, 2013.

Updates

An updated clearance has been posted on the right hand side under "Clearance".

Code of conduct and athlete information are due by Wednesday, if they have no been handed in it will count as an unexcused absence. You can find the form under "Additional Information."

Remember to wear layers.

Reminders for spring track

For all individuals who need to have an impact test the FINAL day is tomorrow after-school in the computer lab, located in the main building. It is on a first come, first serve basis.

For all individuals who did not fill out and return information sheet and code of conduct please make sure they are returned tomorrow Monday March 4, 2013.
