New Years Eve Practice

Practice will be held at Woodman Field at 9am on Monday December 31, 2012

Track Meets Information

Events have been posted for both Friday and Saturday THINGS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Meaning, consistently check the blog.

Hanna B, Mary T, and Issac come prepared to run tomorrow (we did not forget about you all)!!

If there is a concern with an event, please send an email to Coach Wallace or Coach Washington. If you were not in practice today, you were not put on the list to run. As discussed in our initial meeting, if you are not in practice the day before a meet you will not run, unless there is an extenuating circumstance and we have received and email prior to.

For the athletes competing tomorrow LAYERS, LAYERS, LAYERS!! Please have a water and Gatorade  fruit, pretzels and pbj(peanut butter and jelly). Absolutely no candy or chips. For those athletes just running on Saturday please wear your warm up jackets, black sweat pants (layers underneath), sneakers and your spikes.

Bus will be leaving from Midland Avenue on Friday and Saturday at 7am. The meet begins at 9am at the Jersey City Armory. Directions and Address are located on the last page of the schedule.

There is not specific time for each race or the conclusion of the entire meet. We ask that you pay attention to the meet to know where we are and the appropriate time to begin preparing for your race.

We will wait at front door of main building until 9:10

We will wait at the main building at the front door until 9:10am. Flyer wards you will have to enter the buildig from the Midland Ave side and go through the gym to get to the second floor Where we will be.

Practice Venue Change

ATTENTION!!!! Athletes and parents!!
Practice will be in the main building for all athletes in Coach Wallace/Washington/Pasternack groups at 9am On the second floor. Coach Lenczuk group meet at woodman field at 9am.
Please bring your spikes with you tomorrow. Be safe in the snow!!

Practice Announcement

Tomorrow is a half day and practice will be held at 1:30 pm. There is also practice Saturday at 9am. Practice will resume December 26, 2012 at Woodman Field.

Practice has been cancelled due to a bomb scare. If your child has all if their belongings we ask that they go home

Comptetiton Shoes Suggestions

Under the "additional information" tab we have provided a few competition shoes that are recommended for the upcoming winter season. Please be mindful that some shoes are approved for all track venues, while others are not. Please take some time to look at the shoes and send any emails on clarification for the best shoe for you.

Kids, this is a wonderful item to add to you list for the holidays!! :-)

Pep Rally

Just as a reminder, Friday is our winter pep rally please wear a royal blue shirt and sit together as a team on this day.

Revised Schedule

An updated schedule has been uploaded. Please remember to fill out AND RETURN the code of conduct, information sheet, $5 for team tshirt, and deposit for uniform (Checks should be made out to MONTCLAIR HIGH SCHOOL for $175 this is just a formality. Checks will NOT be cashed, just held until the end of the season, think of it as a security deposit. If you return the items in the condition given there will be no penalty and the check will be returned). Due by Friday

We are doing team t-shirts this winter season. Everyone on the roster please bring $5 to practice and turn the money into Coach Pasternack.

Thank you to all the parents who attended the meeting tonight. It was nice to meet all of you. Hopefully those whom we did not meet we will have a chance to in the near future. The schedule has been posted along with all information we touched on tonight at the meeting. We look forward to working with both you and your children this season.
