Workout (Sprinters and Throwers and Distance)
6 sets of 1 min high knees, 1 min squats, 1 min pushups, 1 min A skip reverse lunges (each leg for one minute), 1 min rest.
25 bicycle crunches, 20 reverse crunches, 1 minute plank (30 sec elbows/30 sec hands), 50 jumping jacks. Rest and repeat 4 times.
Cool down:
10 sets of 20 California jumping jacks
Roll out, stretch and ice. The goal is to stay focused because we're in it to win it.
WEEK OUTLOOK AND CHANGES:
The meet scheduled for Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the NYC Armory has been taken off our schedule. The runners will compete on Friday, January 20, 2017 at FDU. All throwers and high jumpers will go to Garfield HS on Monday, January 16, 2017 meet at Midland at 4:30pm. All throwers and high jumpers will also compete on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at FDU bus will be after school competition beginning at 4:30pm.
State Relays will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 the bus will be at 6am from Midland Ave, meet will begin at 9am in Toms River at the Bennett Center.
