Future Stars/Essex County Championships

Thursday freshman and JV athletes will compete at the Future Stars meet held in West Orange NJ. This will be the official last opportunity for freshman and JV to compete.

Friday and Saturday Essex County Championships will take place at Woodman Field. 4pm on Friday 10:30 am (field) and 11am (running) on Saturday. We ask that the entire team show up to support and assist in any way possible over the weekend.

We will discuss the event list for both meets at practice today.  Please be on time.

Vs. Livingston

The meet against Livingston will be at Woodman Field today. The list for throwers has been posted. All sprinter, distance and jumpers, you will compete in your respective events. Be prepared to get your marks, stapes and warm up immediately.

For those who competed in 2+ events last night be prepared for practice today. You will also help with recording results during the meet.

Super Essex Conference Championships - Postponed/ Additional Information

There is no practice on Saturday. Please check the blog tomorrow morning for your workout.

The league championship meet has been postponed to Monday, May 15, 2017. Athletes competing will be excused from their 8th period class. Report to Woodman Field immediately after school. The finalized event list will be posted on Saturday evening.

For those not competing on Monday, you will compete on Tuesday vs. Livingston (at Woodman Field, another change) the last dual meet of the regular season.

Middle School Track and Field Day

Monday, May 8, 2017 the Middle School Track and Field Day will take place at Woodman Field. If you handed in your permission slip to Coach Wallace or Washington, you are able to attend. If you handed in a permission slip and have discovered you are not able to attend, you need to email us immediately.

As a team we will wear our Montclair track and field t-shirts. It will also be in the mid 50's so come with some layers. All volunteers are expected to report to Woodman Field at 8am. Please be on time and be prepared to effectively facilitate a track and field meet. 

There is a dual meet vs. Millburn tomorrow as well, the event list will be posted later on this evening. The entire team should be ready for practice AND/OR competition. Should there be any questions please do not hesitate to send an email. 

Frosh Novice Meet

Event list/order of events has been posted for those who will compete tomorrow. If you will be here and your name is not on the list, be sure to email Coach Wallace as soon as possible. For those who are not competing, report to Woodman at 7:15am in practice clothes, prepared for a workout. 

Those who are competing, report to Woodman by 7:45am so we can hand out event cards and have a complete warmup.
