Saturday Practice/State Sectionals

There will be no practice on Saturday morning. Check the blog tomorrow morning for your workout.

If your name is on the event list for State Sectional Championship please meet on Midland Ave at 12:30pm tomorrow.

Friday Practice

Meet on the second floor at 2:40pm in the main building 

PRACTICE AND GARFIELD MEET INFORMATION

All distance and sprinters practice will be on the second floor of the main building at 3pm. 

There is a field meet tomorrow at Garfield High School. The bus will be at Midland Ave at 4:45pm. This meet is for throws and high jump. 

Attention All Parents and Guardians

There will be a Spring Sports Information night held on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the Main Auditorium. This event has been created to inform each parent/guardian on the new policies and process to be cleared for the upcoming spring sports season. We look forward to seeing each of you there. 

Workout for Today

This is the workout to complete in your home for ALL event groups

5 Sets:

 - 20 jumping jacks

 - 1 min planks

 - 20 push-ups

 - 1 min plank

 - 20 lunges (each leg)

 - 1 minute plank.

Rest, repeat

If you have access to a bike, elliptical or treadmill go for approximately 30 minutes and then do the above circuit.

Remember to stretch for 15-20 minutes when you have completed the workout.

Monday

Monday is a half day. There will be no practice. Please check the blog tomorrow specific workouts to do at home. 

Essex County Championships

For those who will be competing in the Essex County Championships meet on Midland Ave at 6:50am. The bus will be leaving at 7am. 

Saturday Practice

There is no practice Saturday January 24, 2015.

Friday Outlook

If your name is on the event list for the Ridgewood Games which will be held at FDU meet on Midland Ave immediately after school fully dressed. 

If you are not competing, report to practice at Woodman immediately afterschool, come prepared with your layers. 

Tuesday Practice

Practice will be held at 3pm, be on time. 

Monday Practice

Practice will be held at 10am. We will be meeting at Woodman Field. Varsity sprinters and varsity throwers only meet at 8am at Woodman. 

Saturday Practice

We will be meeting on the second floor of the main building for practice on Saturday January 17, 2015 at 8am. Please be on time. 

Friday Practice

Practice for Friday had been cancelled. The entire team is expected to attend the pep rally. Please be sure to look for the team when you repot to the main gymnasium. See you soon 

Wednesday Practice

The entire team will meet on the second floor of the main building for practice. Please be on time. 

Monday Practice

Practice will be held on the 2nd floor of the main building. Throwers will meet at Woodman Field. 

Saturday Practice

Varsity Sprinters and Dostance practice 10am at Woodman. 

Freshman and JV you have off tomorrow. 

For those going to the field meet, be onMidland  Ave at 8am. 

Paul Schwartz Invitational

Event list for the Paul Schwartz Invitational  held Friday January 9, 2015 has been posted. If your name is not on the list you will have tomorrow off. Throwers, you will be meeting Coach Pelli at Woodman Field tomorrow after school.

Saturday for those individuals going to the Garfield Field meet(event list will be posted tomorrow) meet on Midland Ave at 8AM. For those not competing practice will be at 10AM

Thursday Practice

Practice will be held on the 2nd floor of the main building. Plan for practice to be over by 4:30pm. Throwers meet at woodman 

Wednesday Practice

We will meet on the 2nd floor for practice on Wednesday January 7, 2015. 

Tuesday Practice

Practice will be on the 2nd floor of the main building on Tuesday January 6, 2015. Throwers report to Woodman Field immediately after school. 

North Jersey Invitational Meet

Event list for Monday has been posted. If your name is on the list meet on Midland Ave. immediately after school. 

If you are not running you will have the day off. 

All throwers will have practice at Woodman after school tomorrow.

Essex County Relay Championships

The event list has been posted for the Essex County Relay Championships. For all individuals on the list be at Midland Ave, the bus will be leaving at 7am. For all individuals who's name is not on the list, you will be off tomorrow. We are only taking one bus tomorrow so there is limited seating.

There is a meet on Monday at FDU, so check the blog on Sunday for your event assignments.
